At Phi Mu, we host many socials throughout the year! Each year we host two formal dances, one in the winter and one in the spring. Our winter formal has consisted of themes like"Baby, It's Cold Outside" & "Black Tie Affair". Our spring formal is centralized around the graduating seniors with many traditions to celebrate their accomplishments and recognize them for their participation and dedication to Phi Mu throughout the duration of their collegiate careers. Food and drink are provided at our formals, and we always have a DJ to take our song requests along with a photographer to capture the best moments of the night for us.
Along with our formal dances, we have a couple of semi-formal dances as well. In the fall semester, our chapter has a Fall Dance with lots of flannel, a bonfire, and of course some country music. We also will occasionally have one in the Spring as well!
We will also have what are called "Spontos", named after tradition of finding out only days before the date of the dance as a surprise! These are less formal dances that are themed anything from Hawaiian, to At Phi Mu, we are proud of our Social Chairman and her committee for working so hard to provide everyone with a safe and fun filled environment where we can meet others while having an amazing time with sisters!
