Letter From Recruitment Chair

Hello Everyone! My name is Maggie Hurley and I’m the Membership Director here at Phi Mu Delta Epsilon.

Welcome to our page, I hope you learn a lot about our organization. I’m so excited you’re here!

I’m so happy you found your way to our website, and I hope you gain some insight into what makes our chapter special!

As you begin to think about your plans in the fall, I highly encourage you to consider participating in primary recruitment here at Purdue. Joining the Panhellenic community my freshman year has allowed me to experience so many meaningful opportunities and deep connections. After going through recruitment, I recognized so many friendly faces not only from Phi Mu, but from the entire Greek community, making our 40,000-student campus feel like home.

I remember when I went through recruitment instantly falling in love with Phi Mu. I had such genuine conversations where I felt like I could be myself and share my personal values and ambitions. As a senior, I know I can credit so much of my development academically, socially, professionally, and personally to the people I’ve met in Phi Mu who have constantly pushed me to be the best version of myself. I would not be the person I am today without the friends and mentors within Phi Mu who have been with me along the way. We are incredibly passionate and determined people that strive to achieve excellence in everything we do, all while cheering each other on and celebrating each others’ successes. We pride ourselves in being a chapter who embraces diversity of background, thought, and experiences. As you look through our website, I hope you discover all of the ways Phi Mu’s sisterhood impacts our members and the entire Panhellenic community!

If you have any questions about recruitment, feel free to email me at phimurecruitmentchair@gmail.com or the Panhellenic Vice President of Recruitment, Savannah Jimenez, at vpr@purduephc.com.
